Yesterday I visited Darling Harbour, where you find Wild Life Sydney Zoo and Madame Tussaud, that I visited like planned with my several-entry card. Each on their own I felt they were way overpriced, as they weren’t very big, but with the cad they ended up on a reasonable price and the visits I did were nice and took about half a day all in all. At Madame Tussaud you could see some Australian celebrities and historically important persons, as Captain Cook, who was a key figure in charting the coasts of both Australia and New Zealand. There were also some actors, artist, the British royal family and some international scientists and peace promoters, like Einstein, Mandela and Gandhi. At Wild Life Sydney Zoo you could get real close to kangaroos, with no glass or fences in-between, see some lizards and snakes, koalas and a Salt Water Crocodile, which is the worlds larges now living reptile, that can grow over 6 meters in length. |
